BACK-TO-SCHOOL COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Supporting children and families with practical care, encouragement, and community connection.

On August 6, 2026, CarterCares joined a community Back 2 School Bash at the Fort Worth Police Department South Division. Families gathered for school supplies, resources, and community support as they prepared for the new school year.

CarterCares prepared and distributed 200 Pocket Health Kits containing pocket-size hand sanitizer, tissues, and lip balm. We also provided snacks, encouragement stickers, and wristbands for children and families attending the event.

With the help of 10 CarterCares volunteers, all 200 kits were distributed during an event with an estimated attendance of approximately 1,000 people.

CarterCares was grateful to serve alongside Walmart, the Fort Worth Police Department, Fresh Oil International Church, and other community partners.
